Short review time. This game is amazingly charming, funny, addicting and all around fun. Its mostly an adventure game with a vacuum sucking twist that allows for some combat. The mansions you explore are filled with content, nearly everything can be interacted with in some way which makes exploration such a blast. Each mission is throwing some new twist to the gameplay such as balloons that make you float, some new puzzle to solve or some new enemy. It keeps the game fresh for the full 10 or so hours it takes to complete. For me the vacuum mechanic got old a bit too soon, there are just so many ways you can mix up the use flash to blind and then suck ghost gameplay. The boss battles do an excellent job of staying interesting from start to finish but the rest of the combat gets a tad bit old. Also the puzzles are all very basic and its a rather easy game. There is a multiplayer mode that seems to be a load of fun but it was a tad bit difficult to get a good team going. I would love to play with you guys but getting that done is nearly impossible. This is one of the best portable games of the year and a must have for all 3DS owners that love action adventure games. |
