Game & Watch Collection 2 is not available by retail means. In order to attain it through the North American Club Nintendo rewards program you must buy a LOT of Nintendo product. Game & Watch Collection 2 is as un-enjoyable as entering the many Nintendo codes you will have to collect to procure it, in short, it is absolute garbage. Unlike the excellent Game and Watch Collection, which made the most of the dual screens of the DS, G&WC2 chooses to replicate two single screen Game and Watch LCD games. Two of the worst, in fact. Why they ignored the many excellent dual screen Game & Watch games, I have no idea, other than that they must be planning to release these at a profit at some future date. The single screen games included are Parachute and Octopus. As a "bonus" Nintendo combines these two games into a single experience. Kind of like getting AIDS and the clap from a scant few moments of intercourse. Had I paid a retail price for this game I would not have minded, but for this to be the reward for a culmination of tremendous loyalty to Nintendo's first-party products is an insult. Given the choice, go for the Hanfuda cards, as incomprehensible as they are, at least they are not an insult. |
