Hello Metroid fans. What you all think so far. This is one weird Metroid game. Did first two keys, very linear, great combat and bosses. Still an odd feel, doesn't feel like a Metroid game. Now I have the bike, the desert is kind of ehhh. Going to the third "dungeon" now. Hopefully level design gets better.
They even hide options to contact or adress the issue. All it says is, was expected Thursday.
No options on the order page to actually do anything or get a refund.
Though different, theres a lot that feels very much like a Metroid game. I hope it breaks from the linear path soon though. I just got the bike but have not went back out into the desert.
I did try performance mode and really like it. I'm not sure if I prefer quality or performance. Maybe quality on the tv but performance while using the handheld. The new controls feel pretty good except for the psychic beam aiming. I need to invert that right away. Bosses are fun right now, not too difficult and really make you use your new powers. Samus' new suit is sexy.
As silly as this may sound, I absolutely love the title screen, where the title moves right through the object. So smooth. And the music is amazing.
I heard if you own a $30 Metroid Prime 4 Amiibo, it'll unlock music for the bike desert levels. WTH?
BTW, the MP4 soundtrack is on Nintendo Music.
I do like the bike parts, though its weird that I had to take it gor several test drives before leaving the dealership.
Yeah, I was wondering too. I feel like if it was between Netflix or Paramount buying WB then Netflix is the lesser of two evils.
Amazon has severely f***ed my Metroid order. No follow up messages or notifications. Still no game.
Its a shame you can't cancel then drive to a store and pick up a copy.

05.12.25 - Netflix has reached an agreement to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, which includes the entire video game segment in addition to the film and streaming business.
The enterprise value of the business is USD 82.7 billion. This would mean that studios such as NetherRealm, Rocksteady, Avalanche and TT Games would become the property of Netflix. Warner Bros. manages brands such as Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and the DC Universe.
Netflix said the acquisition combines two companies with extensive experience in the entertainment sector and creates a combination of technical reach, streaming expertise and an extensive catalog of content. According to Netflix, competition control in the USA is likely.
In the event of a prohibited approval, Netflix provides for a compensation payment of USD 5 billion. What consequences the takeover will have for Warner Bros.'s gaming business remained open.
05.12.25 - Sony is working on a comprehensive further development of its image scaling technology for the PS5 Pro, according to an unconfirmed report from Moore's Law is Dead.
The internal designation is Multi Frame Super Resolution 2, or MFSR2 for short. This technology is to be available from 2026 and will expand the previous PSSR solution in several respects. According to information from a developer who works with Sony's tools, the new approach reduces the need for input data, reduces memory consumption and shortens the load on the graphics unit.
At the same time, the image quality is supposed to improve: Sony is already providing the studios with analysis tools that better identify errors in the current PSSR. The hints coincide with complaints about artifacts in various games.
