REquiem is pretty damn fantastic. Really loving the two different gameplay types and the visuals really are quite stunning at times. Theres a boss fight with Leon that was jaw dropping with the lighting effects. How did Capcom pull this off on the Switch 2? I haven't played it on portable, only docked.
I am reading reports of jaggies (maybe a few) and sub 30 framerate and I am not seeing that at all.
Capcom always does good visuals. RE Revelations 2 visual quality on Switch was top tier. They used some kind of checkerboard upscaling but it was only noticeable in a couple of instances. I believe DF said Re9 on portable mode has checkerboarding.
Finished it last night, game is amazing, easy 9/10 +. I was shocked to find that I found the Grace sections to be much better. Honestly if the game was all Grace it might have given RE:2 a run for its money as the best classic style RE game, her sections are that good. The way this game keeps the pressure on with not just stalkers but creative zombies and situations. I thought the limited gun selection and focus on stealth would hurt but it's done in such a way that it compliments every facet of classic RE strategy with item management and hallway clearing. It's some of the best classic formula stuff out there, it's just not a full game.
Leon's sections were clearly a step down from 4, they just aren't as creative or have the same energy. The large exploration section just didn't offer enough things to do for how long the section lasted. Don't get me wrong there are some very creative moments but the majority of the standard combat is pretty basic, basic enemies, basic layout. 9's encounter design has more in common with RE6 than 4, in that it's not so much how will this room be different in layout and strategy but more oh some weird shit is going to happen here and you just shoot everything that comes at you.
But I loved the surprise gameplay moments. The crazy fan service. The bosses (except for the last) are top notch. The story is fun even if it is the rise of Skywalker of RE stories. It's a great time.
Need to replay it more times to see where I would rank it finally. And I will do a much bigger deep dive later.

Sad.I beat Call of Juarez and immediately started a new game plus. It's very arcade like and feels great with gyro aiming.
I hate the duals as they control like shit and a few trapped setpieces are annoying. Otherwise great fun, reminds me of Medal of Honour Front Line.
