Which one of you jizz cabbage enthusiasts didn't like Little King Story? Was it you Robio? I've been talking to someone about the community and your name came up as someone who did not like the game. I reviewed your top 100 list and it was not to be seen. We need to get to the bottom of this.
I've been playing online Knockout Tour and love it. I've never won an online race. I think the closest I have gotten is fifth.
I can't even win a cpu knockout tour gold in 150cc.
Always screwed over.

Yeah it was me. I was not a fan of it. Admittedly, I would give the game a second chance if a version of it was available today. But if I didn't like it again, I would probably spend the next decade talking about what a shit show it is.
Played Dying Light on the tv. Switch 2 BC can be excellent on some games. This game is up there with the best Switch ports, it looks on par with Crysis 2 remastered.
Really enjoyable game too, I had to force myself to stop playing it so I can focus on Cyberpunk first.
Also tried Call of Juarez, didn't realise it was also a Techland game. Switch 2 crisps everything up.
The motion controls are really fun and even though you call freely move about it almost feels like a light gun game and really nails the feeling of being in a wild west gunfight.
I assume Dying Light sold poorly on Switch, because Germany effectively banned the game from the eshop across all PAL regions.
Quite a sad affair, Techland seem to make great games.
I've read and watched a few things recently regarding Switch 2s screen.
So firstly it's certified and supports HDR10 but isn't bright enough to display proper HDR.
According to a PC magazine monitor reviewer he says its still a decent panel with higher brightness, better colours and higher resolution, over Switch 1s panel. He also said the colours are a match for the OLED and the screen is matte enough that you get deeper blacks.
He says that he couldn't notice any blur, despite tests. But that the blur does exist and is viewable in 1/30th of a second.
He said that there may be a panel lottery as one reviewer had measured the screen response time as twice as fast as the lowest review.
What's more interesting is the reason for the supposed screen response time.
Most LCDs use LCD Overdrive, a way of forcing faster response times by feeding it more electricity.
Switch 2 doesn't seem to be using LCD overdrive even if its technically capable, it's a fairly standard feature. And the informed speculation is to preserve battery life.
So Nintendo could patch it, it's not that the screen is abnormally slow, it's that they're deliberately trying to save your battery life.
Personally I've not noticed any blur or ghosting but I haven't played any fast moving 2D games on it.
I can't copy and paste links into the news boxes anymore as it copies a huge chunk of text I have to delete. And a Google pass through link.
The notifications and settings had changed and messed up. Now you have to swipe down from the right or left of the screen to get either notifications OR quick settings panel bar. How do I change this back?
And its changed the colour theme from light to dark. FFS.
It's also reactivated Bixby and forced the side button back to gemeni.

That would be entertaining. It was such a fun and charming game.
Isn't Little King's Story a Pikmin clone? Or was there more to it?
I don't know what a "jiz cabbage" is, nor will I be Googling it to find out either, lol.
Little King's Story includes more traditional RPG-style combat and kingdom-building mechanics. It also mixes real-time strategy, life simulation, and RPG elements, whereas Pikmin is more focused on real-time strategy and puzzle-solving.
Don't use the JQ-word.
Always screwed over.
Need a port of this game.
I got to fourth place online last night. I need to find a video on shortcuts in the tracks.

One hit from a Piranha Plant can nuke your whole run.
You could build and upgrade your kingdom and it's charm was off the charts.

Dear god man, you use a phone to do updates! What witchcraft is this?

I enjoyed LKS myself though I never finished it for some reason.
Little King's Story is, by an order of magnitude, superior to the baby's first RTS that is Pikmin.
And I say that as a mental baby who is a big fan of Pikmin.
most of my news posts were done via my phone too
