Egon is such a small part of Ramis, the man directed some of the funniest movies ever and wrote even more of them. Groundhog Day will forever be a favorite of mine. So sad.

According to an internal memo, Elop will replace Julie Larson-Green as the head of Microsoft's Devices and Studios business, putting him in charge of Xbox, Microsoft Surface, and Microsoft's game development efforts, in addition to the new cellular handset business. The memo reportedly comes from Julie Larson-Green herself as she takes on a new role: she's becoming the Chief Experience Officer for the company's Applications and Services group, managing the look and feel of products like Bing, Office, and Skype.

Who is he, the former CEO of Nokia who tanked the company. From Wikipedia:

During the 3 years Elop was Nokia CEO, Nokia revenues fell 40%, Nokia profits fell 95%, Nokia market share collapsed in smartphones from 34% to 3.4%, Nokia's credit rating went from A to junk, Nokia's share price dropped 60% in value and Nokia's market capitalization lost 13 Billion dollars in value. The Financial Times calculated that Nokia shareholders ended up paying Elop a bonus of 1 million Euros for every 1.5 billion in market capital that Elop was able to destroy while Nokia CEO.[5]

This is bad news. If MS doesn't succeed this gen is a total failure. We cannot have a one system generation.

Wii U is dead already. Well it will be a zombie cause Nintendo will actually support it even though people wont.

I have no problem with Xbox One getting its ass kicked and PS4 dominating. Who cares? PS4 can do everything you need it to do.

With the direction MS want to take the brand (which is on hold right now because they realised people were pissed) they deserve to get slaughtered. And PS4 doing better than X1 still has a lot to do with all that...its not just a price thing. Normally a $100 difference wouldn't be a big deal for the Xbox fanatics out there. PS4 has the good vibes, the better tech, and most of the software the X1 will ever get...so again I see no problem with the better console making the other redundant.

X1 bombing would also be a good thing for the Wii U. Not that it has any chance of being "#1" or anything, but if XBox bombs it means at least SOME extra attention to Wii U.

PS1 and PS2 dominated popularity-wise as well, lets not forget. Things turned out fine. If PS4 dominates, it will be the 1st time Sony has ever done so with the best hardware.

I'm so glad I got cold feet on Thief, and cancelled my pre-order a couple weeks ago. I was really hoping for it to be a great game. Oh, well.
