Yeah, the later ones have LOT more content, but the GCN is the only one with playable NES games. I miss the train from the original AC. It had a old-fashioned train, whereas New Leaf has a modern train. It's far better than that god-awful school bus from City Folk, though. WTF, Nintendo?
I just finished World 2 of Super Mario 3D Land. World 2 was a lot better than the first, but still ridiulously easy. There's some neat stuff in there, though. Maybe Super Mario Cats will be better, but Nintendo needs to bump up the difficulty a few notches. One size does not fit all, Nintendo!
The biggest problem with that game is that its too easy for too long and the second harder half is just remixed levels.
These Mario games only really start when you've seen the credits these days. The credits are the halfway point.
Super Mario 3D Land may be the easiest Mario game I have ever played, but it's still fun. I've been playing it on and off all day today, and I played most of it in 3D. I normally don't use 3D when playing 3DS games, but it works quite well with this one.
None. Launch games will likely be $90-$110 here so I won;t be buying any games unless I would absolutely want them.
Deus Ex is a great fucking game man...that is one of my favorite games of the entire generation. If you haven't played it that should be your #1 priority on Wii U IMO.
Hell I may pick up the U version myself. Graphically looks on par with the PC or close to it, and the controls are far and away the best out of the console versions.
But Phoenix Wright is out at the same time. Damn decisions!
From the Polygon Wii U review:
"The Director's Cut is marked by smart, subtle enhancements. The boss fights — which so turned me off in the original game that I never quite completed it — are vastly improved. I was able to hack my way to victory in most situations, or otherwise choose options that didn't leave me high and dry with my underdeveloped firepower. Second-screen play is a godsend as well, with hacking and inventory/augmentation management done via touchscreen. Hacking simply feels better and faster, and having a touch device helped to immerse me in the fiction — I felt like a badass spy with my own nifty device."
Eurogamer gave Sonic Lost World 4/10, Eurogamer Italy gives it 9/10. Seriously?
If it's an either or situation, then Phoenix Wright. It's a better series, and Capcom is in serious need of your money.
But do they deserve it? Where is Ace investigations 2?!
Maybe they'll release Ace 2 if people buy Phoenix Wright 5? I kinda doubt it, but you never know.
I tried playing Mario Kart 7 using the cockpit view and the 3DS gyro for steering. It's kinda fun, but my head really hurts now.
Yeah, any game that uses some kind of in game devices like this, Mass Effect, Watch Dogs...METROID (fucking assholes) are really perfect to build around the Gamepad. It can definitely add to the immersion if done right.
How can you even say its a better series than Deus Ex? Talk about complete opposites. hahaha
epic
All games can be compared to each other in funfactor. I enjoyed both series, but Phoenix Wright is more fun.
Ok then...fair enough.
Has anybody ever seen one of these Gamecube pads?
Apparently Nintendo released this in Japan around the time when the Wii came out, with the matching white color and all. Its a standard Cube pad, but with a 10 foot cable!! This is huge to me, as that was always my #1 complaint with Cube controllers...that short ass chord. This one brings it up to Xbox lengths. Why Nintendo never released this over here, I have no idea.
Anyway, I bought one.
