I agree. Kind of weird to have Retro working on a platformer. Let them do what they want, let them create something. Obviously they are good enough.

It seems like an easy break for them though -- you know? DK can't be taking that much to put together (versus the games they used to work on). Hopefully this is a holdover project and they are working their way back up, not down.

What's funny is I was thinking that myself. These guys could create an amazing Zelda game. They know level design better than anybody obviously from the Metroid games. I'd still rather them work on something NEW though.

I wouldn't doubt that that's exactly why they chose this game....the Wii is kind of in an odd spot right now, nobody really knows how much longer it will go on, or if the audience is even still there for a more Mature game. Especially a new IP. Retro could just be holding onto a new IP for the launch of Nintendo's next console, who knows?

It would be Zelda PRIME, basically. It would be awesome. And maybe Link would stop moving like he's got shit in his pants.
