It's Friday night and I would have to dig around for the receipt. It's been tucked away for years, no telling where that thing is.
I might do a few updates. Not too many though.
You don't need the reciept, GG. Microsoft already knows the exact date you purchased your console--the store where you bought it at has to scan a barcode on the console whenever they sell one, and that info is automatically collected by Microsoft.
I'd call them ASAP, so they can send you out a shipping box. When I reported my RRoD on a Sunday afternoon, I recieved an email later that evening stating they had sent out my shipping box. I never expected them to move that quickly, but they certainly did. I have to give them credit for that.

I still need to dig out the manual to get the phone number I guess. I'm in no rush at the moment. They were quite good a few years back with xbox 1. When I needed a new one they sent over a courier and he picked it up with special packaging.

What sets High Voltage Software apart is that it took the Nintendo Wii seriously as a platform, and the team tightened the controls until they screamed. Then it opened them up so you can have it your way. The multiplayer mode is also something to be proud of, and the single-player game is not a bad way to spend an afternoon or two. The haters will continue to hate because it doesn't look as good as 360 or PS3 games, and some will continue to turn up their noses at the idea of the motion controls, but the fact is that The Conduit brought an actual, honest-to-goodness, high-class first-person shooter title to a system that badly needed it. The people dumping on it are taking out their frustrations on the system, not the game. Don't let them scare you away from a good time... not to mention the vocal stylings of one Kevin Sorbo.
It can be campy, and the violence can be more brutal than the Teen rating may let on (due to the controls) but this is good stuff. If you a see a plot twist or two coming, there are worse things in life.

Long story short, The Conduit is an amazing game well worth the $49.99, and if you did not pick this game up on launch day, you need to slap yourself, get in your car, and go pick up a copy now, because it is one of the most enjoyable FPS experiences on the market.

Online may come off a little crude by modern standards, but its raw, run-and-shoot action taps a nostalgic sense from back in the early days of playing PC shooters online. In the heat of this action, The Conduit comes closest to realizing its aspirations to become the first epic shooter for the Wii. By comparison, the best moments in single-player only highlight the missed potential for The Conduit to be more than the rather ordinary game it turned out to be.

BTW, those airplane controls are how Rogue Squadron 3 would've played on Wii, and it would've been awesome!
Maybe if they did a Pilotwings style sim flight game. For rogue squadron it would be too difficult I feel.

So just as I was about to smile and cheer for MS customer service, I spend a long phone conversation with their operator in INDIA. And he barely understands me and I barely understand him.
I have to repeat myself 5 times, he keeps getting all the details wrong and then when he finally does register the box, he tells me I have to go online to actually get the repair going.

Now I have to have a windows live ID and register for an online account and gamertag I will never fucking use just to get my system repaired. FUCK!
Yeah, I bypassed the phone call completely, and just went through their website. I had it all done in less than 20 minutes.
