Those big monsters in Resistance 2 almost made me shit myself, I am getting near Shadow of Colossus vibes from some of the enemies, which means I'm very impressed
Edit: In kind of old news, I found this;
Hideki kamiya posted a new Blog Entry in the official Platinum games Blog over Facebook... he stated that he is going to do his very best with Bayonetta to live up to the legacy of games like Fantasy Zone, Space Harrier, and Afterburner, he also Said that it will be the best game he ever Created ... BOLD WORDS! you mean to tell me its better than Okami, Resident Evil 2 , DMC 1, Viewtiful joe !! Since its Kamiya, we have to Believe him ... stay tuned for more Platinum games news.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileGG, I can help out with a day too. Just not Tuesdays and Thursdays, I'm pretty busy with school those days. Just give me a big list of sites to check.
HiRes What are you trying to insert? Weird code stuff keeps showing up.
Aren't space harrier and afterburner like into the screen shooters? How is Bayonetta, a combat game even comparable? Okami is good but overated if you compare it to a zelda game IMO. I'm getting sick of the combat at the moment.
Everywhere? I need specifics.
Just a tip for anyone routinely visiting a series of sites:
In Opera you can save sessions (all the tabs you have open) to reopen at a later time. So you can open them all, save the session, then open them all again just by opening the session.
This, of course, aside from using RSS feeds on something like Google Reader.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileI've thought about it for a little now, and although I know all the decisions are totally up to Yoda and GG...I have to say that I am more than happy with what we have here, and maybe the newspaper idea and or forums are a little too intricate. What we have now is already more organized than say Kotaku, and I think its important to maintain this sort of laid back vibe that this site exudes.
While I don't know what kind of time I can commit to this, being a part of game website is a big dream of mine, and it is something that I'd put a lot of work into. If we need to spend some money as the site gets more users and we start to use more bandwidth, I'd be happy to contribute to that. I very much want to commit to running a day or a half day or whatever, I just don't know how feasible it will be. We are right in the middle of expanding our operation here at work to include headstones and monuments, and my family needs me to be a better employee than I have been.

I'm fairly happy but I understand in that since there is no forum some people want to make topics other than just tracking the news. Otherwise like D said, you can make a post, get a reply and that is really all that happens. I just wonder, because we have a small number of members if a board would be too empty. The other option is to scrap this feature and just have a board in its place?
I guess I wouldn't mind if people wanted to go that route but I just worry about missing news. I couldn't spam the forum with news as that would be pointless and messy. I have a few ideas for site features but I would need volunteers and more time free and all that.
GG I guess wednesdays. The thing with me is that I wake up late most days, so by the time i get here you have huge updates, for you it will be the evening already. It maybe better to just do shifts, you do the mornings (well mornings for me) I will handle the night. For instance all the stuff you just added, I could have done no problem.
Well let me know what you decide, maybe we could have two people on one day so you could cover each other? Or like I said, you could do alternative emergency cover if someone can't do their day for whatever reason on short notice? Or alternative coverage on portables?
I think the news talk should stay in this format. The forums should be just a place to talk about specific games or something.
Well I'm totally offline from say:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
9pm - 9am GMT
So for you in Miami that would be from 4pm - 2am but obviously you aren't going to update to 2am?
And I'm looking to cut back on my posting so like I said, having people do full days would be advantageous to me so I could have more free time for writing, training and leisure. I wonder if there is anyone in Europe who could cover one or two mornings.... *slyly looks Iga's way* than Dvader could do the evenings?
Dude I am up very late
But thats usually my gaming time.
Or I could cut off early say go offline from 6pm - 9am GMT
Which would be from 1 pm to 2 am Miami time
By 1pm I can take control. My daily routine is to check all the days news anyway, shouldn't be hard to update the site as I do.
Anyway I got to go, I'll be on later, you know when I can help, if you want to discuss how PM me.
I'm probably the least knowledgeable person here when it comes to portables. I've just sorta lost interest and moved away from that segment of gaming as a whole. While I wouldn't mind writing about it, I probably wouldn't be fair minded, and I probably wouldn't know which pieces of news were truly interesting to people who are enthusiastic about handhelds. I'd be more than happy to run things on a Saturday or Sunday(taking the easy way out I know...) ...and I wouldn't mind trying something out during the week to see if I can balance it out with work. I hate to sound non-committal, as I'm really excited about the potential of this place.
I agree with you Vader, I think the news talk fits great with this format, and that a forum could be used for more general discussion about gaming, and for things like dedicated game threads in anticipation of big releases.
"When I was around her, I felt like a goblin made entirely out of wicked genitals"
Both days on weekends GG. There isn't much going on sat and sunday anyway. And it would be neat to try and do a quick weekly lookback feature as well.
Oh, you know which kind of sex I am having. Your sore asshole butt tells me so.
It would be nice to keep all news comments in here, and leave a board for specific game stuff, or a news piece big enough. For example: Game releases, big reviews, NPD and MCS threads. I still think it would be advantageous to have two separate boards only, a gaming one and an off topic one. Even though it might look empty at first, there will be more people. It is bound to happen. At any rate, GG Weekly should keep its own comment section.
Firefox 3 also has this feature! I love it.
@Hiresdes: Newspaper layout shouldn't compromise the way this site work, just a different visual approach. Nevertheless, if implementing such a feature is troubling in any way, I think we should postpone it until things are better ironed out.
Oh, and reading through rag's post, if there is a need for footing future hosting bills, I'll be glad to help within my humble possibilities as well. Need to open up a paypal account or some shit like that. How much does it cost to keep a site running?
Oh, it would be nice to team up with rag on weekends. Make it happen.
We would kick the weekend's ass. It doesn't even stand a chance. I almost feel sorry for the poor bastard.

Well that depends if everyone here would except that and if the people in my forum would except that. I don't really like the whole "change Neogamer's name to Insert Coin" though.
Is this game an action game like Devil May Cry or an action game like Sin & Punishment?
