Einhander, Vagrant Story & Xenogears are on PSN (Vagrant's out in Europe/America!). Edgey, go look up all the games that are on the Japanese PSN, and I think you're going to cry.
Honestly, I think it's due to a number of factors:
*The developer being owned by another company, which may prove more of a hassle than anything (i.e. Rare)
*Potential licensing issues (which is why it took so long for Marvel vs Capcom 2, and why we may never see any of the classic N64 wrestling titles - as an example).
*License holder not giving a fuck (i.e Sega barely releasing anything that wasn't on the Genesis, Nintendo with stuff like DK64, Capcom with anything that isn't Street Fighter II, Square still refusing to release the original Final Fantasy Tactics outside of America etc.)
*Emulation issues - from what I recall, the reason I hear Sega doesn't want to do Saturn games because they aren't easy to emulate.
*Audience - Despite us not wanting any more Mega Drive compilations, they keep on selling well. And a lot of the games that would be great to download (i.e. Einhander or what not), are really quite niche, and won't make as much money as a more well known property.
Yeah I'll take comfort over 3 prongs. The Makopad was as comfortable as the PS pad. So much more releaxing when playing something like Zelda.
