Doesn't the game use UE3? Like an enchanced version of it? Strange that they had such problems.

Engine familiarity is one thing, but it's still game development, it's still a lot of complicated shit. And if a lot of the development was built around the console skus by the parent studio, asking the port job team to do a port for a more complicated machine, with less time and effort is still going to be a hassle. Given the way the game uses 100% of your vram, regardless of your settings, it screams rush job, ditto given the visual features missing. And it's something they already did with MKX, because Warner is being dumb as fuck these days.
It's a shame because that game deserves to be 60 faps, and not gross at 30 frames of consoles. My PC handles Arkham Knight fine these days, but it's still bit of a shit show.
Not let Rocksteady make it, outsource it, and have them try to pull it off inside of a year. Probably works with smaller scaled projects, but Batman is a pretty big game all things considered. Nvidia lying sacks of shit to boot.
