I called today, they said they were trying to force through a 10mb speed which may have overloaded the line and that's responsible for the crappy connection. They are redacting it to the 2mb/ps within the next few days.
Should be interesting to see if it fixes the problem.

Sort of. I think this is how it was before. Still lame considering its supposed to be 2mb. But I guess that's all the line can handle.
DSL uses regular phone lines. If the lines are really old, then quality/speed goes down, which appears to be the case with GG's connection.
