I like it so far.
Sometimes it buffers for a while.
Some series they have air on the website in English the same day it airs in Japan in Japanese. Space Dandy was the first series they did that with.
Though the ones that are "simulcast" don't have captions. I have to wait until it is on Bluray to watch with captions for those episodes.
Season 2 of My Hero Academia is Simulcast only.
They have hundreds of different shows on Funimation Now.
I have a few shows on my queue and three movies.
The movies I have on my list are: Akira, Summer Wars, and the Girl Who Lept Through Time.
The seasons 1 and 2 were the students first year at the UA Academy.
The show is basically a tribute to Comic Book Superheroes, yet some of the powers are thinks I never seen in a comic book.
In that universe 80% of the population has superpowers or Quirks as they're called in the series and Manga. When abilities first showed up they had to create laws for the Heroes to work.
If you like comic books you will probably like this show.
gamingeek said:I'll watch it. Try out Assassination Classroom and if they have it, Prison School. How many One Piece episodes do they have dubbed?
They have all three shows.
They have 574 episodes of One Piece Dubbed so far.
If you want to watch in Japanese they have 13 seasons of One Piece on the Funimation website, 9 seasons dubbed.
I have Assassination Classroom in my queue and I started watching One Piece today I'm on episode 4 of Season 1.

Seriously that show goes on forever. Don't try and marathon it.
The Heroic Legend of Arslan should be on Funimation too.
I finished the first series, about 24 episodes last night. Really good series, shades of Fullmetal Alchemist near the end. I would like some more fantasy elements to it though and perhaps more exposition on the bad guys as the good guys have a massive cast list and the bad guys have like 3 people, mostly underexplored.

I saw it on there yesterday.
Been watching Devilman Crybaby.
Great so far, really great animation, the way it all warps and moves, gives it this anarchic feeling. It's about devils being born into the world and how someone absorbs a devil and becomes a devilman.
Gave up on Samurai Flamenco, the first 8 - 10 episodes are great and could even be watched in seclusion, but then in literally turns into the Power Rangers and is a giant pile of crap.
I'm having something of a Love Hate relationship with Eureka Seven. Eureka bitches and moans too much and I'm over it. The plot meandres a lot and they only seem to be revealing the main plot quite late into the series.
Finished Devilman Crybaby on Netflix. It's only 10 episodes. And wow.
Just wow. Kinda awesome. I have a few issues with it, but overall it's great.
Watched Little Witch Academia on Netflix, it's by Gurren Lagaan studio Trigger. It feels really old though, something about the animation style, music and sanitised script makes it feel like some 60s/70s American cartoon. It's basically Harry Potter, but with girls only - and boring. I'll try another episode but I'm not hopeful.
Also watching Netflix Violet Evergreen - about the recuperation of a woman soldier (living weapon) and her adjustment to her post war society. It's more interesting than it sounds and really well made, if you can believe the premise. It's more of a romantic show.
I've been watching Seraph of the End on netflix
The series is set in a world that allegedly comes to an end at the hands of a "human-made" virus, ravaging the global populace and leaving only children under the age of thirteen untouched. It is at this time that vampires emerge from the recesses of the earth, likely followed by age-old horrors of the dark thought only to be myth. A young man named Yūichirō Hyakuya joins a vampire extermination unit to avenge the deaths of his orphaned family and reclaim his best friend Mikaela Hyakuya from the vampires.
It's pretty decent and very watchable. Comes across as a mash up of Blue Exorcist and Attack on Titan in a way, not as good as either. It can feel very derivative at times but its still fun and engaging to watch.
I'm only watched Episode 1 so far.
Nintyfan17 said:Just started Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood on Netflix.

That's the worst episode. It gets good from when the furhrer does something crazy.
Ed and Al went north to Briggs.
The last episode I saw Winry showed up there.
gamingeek said:Ah, Briggs. Fond memories.
Has Sloth showed up yet?
When I wrote that it was after General Raven went "missing."

Good, good. Remember to watch the final 4 episodes or so in one sitting. It's much better without breaks.
I signed up for a free trial of Funimations premium service.
I can watch anywhere on my computer, phone, or PS4.
I get unlimited commercial free viewings of all of their shows and I get to watch the uncut versions.
With a free account you can only watch the version they play on TV networks and you have to watch with commercials.
I think I might continue because it is only $5.99 a month, I have Netflix and it's about $10.99 a month.
