Missing Xbox Runaway Brandon Crisp Found Dead

The media is going to have a field day with this one...
I predict two states impose some form of game-related legislation, and another study about video game violence comes out.

On the other hand, I think video games do impact you to some degree. Any avid gamer has felt agitated when they had to abruptly stop playing when they really wanted to, or had it taken away, especially around the age this kid was. I vaguely recall being pulled away from Rainbow 6 to bring in firewood or shovel snow off the deck in winter, muttering under my breath even though it only took 5 minutes Nyaa. Although it's not really the game itself, it's the sheer amount of enjoyment and adrenaline you're getting out of it. The same thing could happen with Sudoku I suppose, if you're that into it. Discuss.

Sad to hear, I never felt that way about games. I think that there was far more wrong in this kids life than COD4.

I love how mainstream media approaches this kind of news. It's ALWAYS videogames fault, never because of SHITTY parenting.

Agreed. I enjoy video games, but they are not who I am.

This is one reason why I believe all parents should have time limits on video games for their kids. They should also encourage their kids to do other activities. My parents did that, and I'm very thankfull to them.

Well the father seemed to be scapegoating the game a bit too. He probably doesn't understand games and just sees his kid playing a lot and blames it for his sons death. His son was probably burying himself in games because his life was bad and then that was taken away from him.
