Nothing to see here. Go away.LEAVE ME ALONE! AAAAAAAAAHHHH!
Like Jamie's review (which I ignored) I am avoiding the spoilers (so I'm hiding the first post).

There aren't any spoilers in that review dude. I made sure of that.
^Yeah, but that opening para scared me off. Hey I watched Good Game for the first time last night. They do a very decent job. TV and games don;t usually mix, but their reviews are thorough. They have a hand clasping problem though -- you notice that? I wonder if the director tells them to do that?

After finishing ME2, I immediately jumped to Heavy Rain.
First things first, this is my Origami figure. The game has a paper sheet and a little twelve step tutorial to do a figure like the one in the box art. How cool is that?
Upon starting it, you quickly realize how much care and effort (and money) went into this game. VA is really good, facial and body animations are fluid and believable, and the music is terrific. Production values are through the roof.
It's extremely hard to give impressions on a game so easily spoilered. I'll just say the game does a wonderful job of establishing how a perfect life can take a turn for the worst.
Gameplay takes a bit to get used to, you need to press R2 to walk around, and a huge number of things can be explored or interacted with; besides, L2 will at any time show your thoughts concerning plot-related issues, in order to give you context. I wonder if this is the logical evolution of point-and-click adventure games. If so, I fully embrace it.
It it slow paced, but that's not a bad thing at all. It lets you think about decisions made, and it allows you to give it a shot at understanding what the characters are going through.
