2nd greatest year? Fuck that! HL2, Halo 2, GTA Sa, Kotor 2, Ninja Gaiden, Metroid Prime 2.
And Metal Gear Solid 3 is easily the best of the series. I still tear up when I hear Star Sailor's song. In fact, I love that whole soundtrack so much, I imported it from China.

Yup its been 10 years since this absolute masterpiece hit. By far the best story in any MGS game, the best gameplay at the time as well. The greatest collection of boss battles ever put in a game. The greatest final 2 hours in gaming history.
This game is so deep, so insanely genius that we are still finding new things to do like this just found on gaf:

HOLY SHIT! So genius. Everything about this game is genius.
So lets remember one of the greats (and I know some of you will take this time to shit on other games cause being positive is too hard)
BTW its the 10 year anniversary of 2004, the 2nd greatest year in gaming so we have a ton of 10 year anniversaries.
