Not really. Even after months of daily playing, some of the animals would surprise you from time to time with a quip or line you never heard before.
Can you still choose to make up perverted nicknames to get amusing dialogue?
No.
One thing I did notice yesterday for the first time and that also got mentioned in some places was that suddenly the time required to finish crafting ramps up insanely. Going from 2 minutes to 6 hours then 48 fucking hours does reek of a conscious effort to make you spend actual cash in speeding things up. Mainly because you have a limited space regarding the amount of items you can craft at the same time unless you are willing to spend leaf thingies (which are available to purchase with real money besides being attainable in-game).
Isn't the real Animal crossing like this?
