It wasn't bad, I could still read but it definitely wasn't easy. When you need to concentrate hard to see something it's probably too small.
It's way too small. I want to be able to sit on my couch about fifteen feet away to play. Do you have to change it in the options because my text seems to be about the same

No it was instant with me

There are some comparison pics in the gaf patch thread.
Travo you can clearly see the changed font in those pics, first two are after the patch, last one before. Look at the commands on the bottom right.
I use subtitles( bad hearing). They look about the same to me and that's what I was concerned about. Yeah, I'm fucked visually and with auditory.
I went online to see how the acts are split up and I've just now reached act 2. Nearly fifty hours of gameplay! Ive ever played a game of this scope before.
Vader, are you liking the Novigrad missions now? It's certainly a change of pace.
I accidentally cornered myself into a quest that was way beyond my current level (Lv 11, quest was 24), after a few tries and no small amount of cursing, I completed part of it. I thought of getting out of Novigrad to do countryside shit in peace, I pick up the farthest question mark in the map and what do I find? A fucking Lv 24 earth elemental. Just my luck.
Took me a fair amount of time but in the end I killed it. And the loot he was guarding wasn't even that good anyway.
I am running right into a burnout with this game. I am about 65 hours in and just now finished act1. It's too big. If the gameplay was very interesting it could keep my attention but I know exactly how every mission, every battle, every side quest will play out in terms of mechanics, all that changes are the stories. 30 hours ago I was riveted with the game, now I feel I am going through the motions. I may need a break... No way I finish this before batman.
I was a little overwhelmed myself which is why I stopped the side quests to focus on the main story. I'd like to think I'd finish before batman but that's only two weeks.
It's crazy we are at almost the same spot but you have about fifteen extra hours of gameplay. You must've played the hell out of some side quests.

Like Travo said, stop the side quests and finish the main story. You can always go back after beating the game to finish up side quests.
I can read!!!
