Dark Souls 2 and yikes... doesn't look like much will help either. So much has been delayed. DA3 looks to be the one to beat for this year. Batman which will be awesome but too much batman already. GTAV Next gen edition might be one of the most exciting games this year at this rate.

There is nothing next gen that is doing anything special yet. I feel like Witcher 3 will be the first real next gen game.

And hopefully not glitchy as hell on consoles given its PC pedigree.

Yeah though, this year is definitely a classic downtime year while everybody is finally busy making games for NEW hardware. It will end up being a good thing though. 2015 should be insane.

Same. If all those indie hits that came out last year were hitting now, with nothing else making big news it may have changed the industry by a few more percent.

If I were EA or Activision right now I'd be setting up an indie label and signing people left right and center to offset the risk of AAA development.  I know EA tried that a few years ago, but they closed that division 1-2 years back. Should have stuck it through.
