My name is Robert Neville, here on VGPress. It's been days since I've seen anyone in this city. I'm running out of food and my only company is a mangy dog I think is infected with the virus. He keeps coughing.

I think he licked zombie Steelo ballsacks a few days ago for water.

Everyone has disappeared, I think they are out in the quarantined zone called GSpot, set up by the evil government.

If they try and come back here I have my shotgun ready.

IS ANYBODY OUT HERE?! IS ANYBODY ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know in the past we've had busy weeks and slow times, given the small userbase that's inevitable. Whenever some prominent poster goes on holiday or whatever, or has chick problems.

But recentely (past week and a half) this place has almost been like ghost town, to the extent that I find I have to other places to read and discuss things.

I post quite a bit daily, so what's going on with everyone else? Nothing to say?

Also, I feel bad for the new members. Robio and Ask story finally come over  aswell as a couple of new members and suddenly we go into this introverted quiet phase? I feel bad, as someone who tries to provide new updates each day along with Iga and others. We've said, come on over, this place is pretty cool. And then ghostown.

Funny thing is I was active at an above-average level last week. I hadn't been on GGWeekly for a solid couple of weeks before this week, nor had I bothered looking at the forums since I stopped posting in the GTA thread. I certainly don't post news items except once in a blue moon. I'm also about 3 or 4 podcasts behind.

Basically I just look at my profile and see if anyone has written new blogs, like 5-10 times a day. Once and a while I'll scroll down to "everyone's comments" and see if someone has said something interesting or sexual.

SUMMARY:
If you post a blog, expect it read and commented within an hour or two. Everything else, I just can't seem to keep up with it all.

Oh, plus anyone in  college/university has exams right now, I don't know how much of the member base that effects.

If no one else responds within a few hours, consider the site deserted. We'll have a campfire and roast some marshmallows out on the vast open plain. Grinning

When I turn off the computer and then come back online say 12 hours later, there are usually at least a few new comments on GGweekly to read. But then recentely I look at the forums and see like 1 new reply in no more than a couple of threads.

And daily, when its busy its great on GGweekly, you have the day guys -day my time- and then the evening crew - my evening.

I would have thought it would be quiet when there was no new news and we were in a boring time of the year in the gaming calender, but there is tons of new stuff lately and new stuff to talk about.

I shouldn't be able to have a 2-3 hour break, come back to the GGweekly page and see that my post was the last one.

I was thinking the same thing, but I am even more worried about the forums. We do not have enough new topics. Especially of the PS3/360 kind. I was thinking of making a new thread calling people out. You know what I am going to make some threads right now.

You guys probably won't see much of me until E3 or so. As Yarcofin mentioned, this is crunch time for those of us in college, and I'm looking into taking a long vacation right after this semester ends. TBH, I'm really not into gaming much at the moment, so when I post, it's usually been something snarky followed by a " Nyaa " rather than something worthwhile. It's probably best that I don't post much until I get back into the swing of things; unless, of course, you guys like seeing lots of " Nyaa 's" posted everywhere? Nyaa

There is no point calling people out Iga.

Anyhow, I've also noticed that there are guys who don't use the holy trinity of the site, that being blogs, forums and GGweekly. Some dont use the forums, some dont use GGweekly and some dont do blogs. Or comment on blogs.

Troubling.

Raven, when on vacation, use hotel wi fi and laptops on the beach!

This blog would have been much more awesome if nobody commented.

I check in on the forum and if there is nothing new there is nothing new.  Since the blogs got moved to ggweekly I have not been as good about keeping up with them, but the new home page should take care of that now.

But point taken, I should post more often.
