Take one of the best beat em ups of the 16 bit era, remove all the awesome 16 bit elements from that title and leave the core combat that is dated and you get TiT Rearmed. Remember that awesome TMNT theme song, not in this game. All the excellent music from the arcade gone. Sweet sprites that look like the cartoon, nope. It's not even the better SNES version, its based on the arcade. It's ok, these classic Konami beat em ups are still fun to an extent. A game like this would have benefited from the nostalgia factor but that is missing. At least you get online co-op play and trophies. I guess you should know what to expect, a quality brawler. The issue is that the original version was better. |
