It's Rock Band, with Beatles music. Not much to say about the gameplay, it works like all the RB games you have played. The Beatles story mode is very well done, taking you on a musical journey through their career. Such care was taken with the source material, its clear that thsi game is a love letter to Beatles fans. All the background locations look identical to how they were in real life. When the Beatles are in studio each song has its own dream scape type video to go along with it. It's FAR more interesting than any GH or RB game with their generic rock dude on generic stage. As you play you unlock pictures and videos about the Beatles. For once I was compelled to unlock things in a RB game, mainly cause the unlockables are awesome. The only complain I have is that there should be more music on the disc. Many of their famous songs are missing, such as Help!, She Loves You, Hey Jude, Let it Be, and A Day in the Life. This game is simple to recommend, do you like the Beatles, if so buy it if not stay away. |
