Don't bother. I was thinking of leaving the review like that but I will say a bit. The game is not exactly the Mercs you love from RE5. There are fewer enemies on screen and there is pop in at a distance of enemies (and their frame rate is really slow, weird effect). The levels are smaller versions of the ones from the games thus reducing the strategy of moving around the levels. The game has various missions to do but the first batch is nothing but a giant tutorial and the others are simply going through each level. There is no imagination in the missions, no cool objectives or variety to make this "game" feel like a full game. There is a skill system in place, as you play you unlock powers for your characters, these increase stats and are necessary cause the game is pretty brutal. You will need some of these perks to get through the super hard missions which throw too many tough enemies at you. Simply put it just doesn't feel as fun as it is on the consoles. The controls are fine, I think its the difficulty and gameplay balance with the size of the levels, something is off. There isnt enough content to make this a full game. |
