Time magazines GOTY, the writer is clearly on drugs. Don't even bother playing this turd of a game for a buck. This is a tree pruning puzzle game where you simply swipe to cut branches. There is probably some artistic message about being the last tree or some bullshit, who gives a flying fuck. Game starts with a patch of soil where you swipe in the direction you want the tree to grow, as it grows it sprouts branches that go in different directions. If you want the tree to grow more you need to cut branches, each branch you cut allows the other branches to grow further. The goal is to reach the light which is usually past some obstacles. As levels go by obstacles get more complex with stuff like red light that infects your tree or chainsaws. There are some orbs that you can grab which makes the tree grow toward it. Levels start to include multiple trees to grow but it never gets that difficult. By the time you are using your brain the game is over. It's like 40 minutes long at most and all you do is swipe branches and move orbs. If you are so bored that you are thinking of going outside and pruning real trees maybe give this a try but hi estky cutting real life branches is probably more fun. |
