All you do in this game is throw stuff in a fireplace and watch it burn. Sounds terrible right, well its not. This game has a certain charm and almost creepy mystery that will keep you playing for hours. Done by the same guys that did World of Goo you play a boy who got this little inferno play fireplace, all done in that world of goo art style. You order objects from a catalog to burn. Everything is slightly warped, like you buy a stuffed animals that scream horribly when they burn. The world you live in is at the center of the story which is told through notes and one of the most interesting endings you will ever see. Now the actual game part is all about puzzles, more like riddles. You have 100 different combinations of objects to burn and the only hint you get is a title like "Dino-mite combo", to get that you need to find a dinosaur and a dynamite. Some are easy, some are super clever. Just watching stuff burns become enjoyable on its own cause most objects have unique burning properties. The only thing that is annoying is this time based shipment system where items you buy in a catalog take time to "arrive". You get stamps to speed this up but many times you will have to just wait and do nothing as a counter times down. This is the best Wii U downloadable game, definitely try it out for $10 |

Nice review, trine 2 directors cut is the best game though.
