Once again I am pasting together impressions to create a review.

I am about 6 hours into the campaign and am almost done with the game. It already feels repetitive to me. I think the reason why these CoD campaigns are short is that the gameplay won't hold up for more than 8 hours. The game does have variety in missions much like CoD4, I drove a tank and was a gunner on a plane. Even that doesn't help cause all you do in this game is shoot. Shoot with a gun, shoot with a pistol, shoot with a sniper rifle, shoot with a turret, shoot using a tank, shoot out of a plane, shoot shoot shoot shoot shoot everything that moves. Thats the entire game, there is nothing else to it. CoD is like a big summer movie, really flashy, incredible special effects, but no substance (single player at least).

Luckily the real meat of the game is multiplayer and it seems it has all the options that made CoD4 so great. But guys I dont know how long I will keep this game, I may finish it and return it tomorrow.

World at War is done. Like I said before it got extremely repetitive by the end. The last two missions relied way to much on the invisible checkpoints that allow your men to move forward. There are just waves after waves of endless enemies unless you move up, or kill certain enemies, to be honest I have no idea what triggered the men to move on. The campaign is basically a rollercoaster FPS, its almost on-rails, the game always tells you exactly what you aresupposed to do but you are going to see some amazing stuff as you play. CoD4's campaign was better due to it having some standout missions like the sniper mission. Based on single player alone this game is just ok, but no one buys CoD for single player.

I didn't go in depth with the online modes but what I saw was basically CoD4 in a WW2 setting. Where that game had helicopter strikes you can call in, WaW allows you to call in dogs to attack. Tons of modes and agreat leveling up system shows that the online mode is up there with CoD4. It also has the campaign co-op, one mode is competitive co-op where you can play a level and you earn points as you kill enemies and heal teamates. Only tried it for a short while but it was a blast. Then there is zombie mode, holy **** it's awesome. You are in a boarded up house and you need to keep the zombies away. As you kill them you earn points which you can use to buy weapons or access more areas of the house.

There is no denying that CoD WaW is all around an excellent game. It might not be CoD4 but its close to it. The campaign was fun even though it started to annoy me by the end. That said its still a game I would recommend to buy as it has so much quality content
