New game, spin off.
Hopefully it'll finally realize the full potential there is for a kickass single player experience instead of the glorified tutorial we get with regular splatoon games.
To see more of inkling culture. This seems to be set on barren islands. I hope they make it big and not just a DLC type short experience only sold separately at full price.
That's two Koei games that aren't using DLSS.
Both games with seemingly image quality issues going off the last footage I've seen.
I don't believe we have really discussed the joy cons and what an awesome job Nintendo did with refining them. Obviously, the new size is great but the magnets are fantastic. I seem to recall that some of us questioned their choice of using magnets to attach the controllers, including me, but they are pretty much perfect.
Yeah, I do like how they snap into place and they easy enough to take off. Feel sturdy attached to the system in handheld mode. Bigger size is more comfortable as well.
I can't believe that in this day and age, with how well Switch2 games manage to look, Nintendo believes that the level of detail on the rigging below is acceptable in any way.
The magnetic docking system works like magic. I am however not that much of a fan of the joycon themselves. Because of how they are larger, they are actually more difficult to use horizontally when playing with only one joycon. The analogue stick design bothers me as well, the indent on the top is so pronounced as to be intrusive during play I feel. And the detach button on the back interferes with how I've always held the Switch, namely with my index fingers on the shoulder buttons and my middle fingers just below, supporting the console. Now that's made less comfortabel by the positioning of the detach buttons on each joycon.
So yeah, not much of a fan. I know a lot of people felt that the original's joycon were too small and resulted into cramping, but I never had any problems with them.
I accidentally swallowed a book of synonyms. My thoat was thesausus it's even been.
Also, Winter is upon Australia. $%#^ I hate cold weather.
^ It'll be 31°C here tomorrow.
I like the extra size of the buttons and sticks on the new joycon, the magnets are awesome too.
However as someone with small hands it's made the console less comfortable for me to hold in handheld mode. I used to be able to slip my little fingers under to support the weight.
And the edge that's magnetised is a bit sharp to use in split offscreen play.
I used silicon shells with OG switch, need to get a decent pair for mouse mode too.
Has anyone tried switching eshop region to buy games?
How do you do it and does it work?
Nintendo sold 3.5 million Switch 2 consoles in four days. Unbelievable.
Didn't Nintendo mention getting around scalpers by having enough units in stock?
I guess it's because they produced them en masse before launch. Overstock?
I miss winter except for the driving on icy roads. I don't mind the cold so much, but it was 91° F here yesterday and it's awful. Cold > heat
