Squarehome 2. It has a free version and one that costs something like €2. It's the only app I ever paid for. Basically allows you to layer the winphone UI on android. It works superb in hiding all those horribly flashy Android colours.

In the same vain there's whicons, which is just a database of stylish monochrome versions of garish app icons.

If you're coming from winphone you'll probably have your contacts attached to an outlook user. Android requires a Gmail account and transferring contacts is impossible (as far as I'm aware) with Blackberry Hub+ you can get your winphone contacts in your phone's contact list. It requires some fiddling though. Blackberry also has it's own (non free) apps that the hub is supposed to power, but you don't need those to use the hub for linking to your phone's contacts.

I'm going to stick with EMUI the Huawei version of Android as it looks more clean and apes the iphone display I have seen/heard. I found articles on how to sync contacts. And I can do phones and the rest easily, even music tracks.

But I spent a lot of time/effort making playlists from my library and I'm worried those will be lost.

Well if you've come to the realization that privacy does not really exist and you'd like to cash in on that, I'd suggest getting the Google Rewards app. It's lets them track where you go and then they send you surveys or brief questions to confirm you went to those locations and then they give you credit in the Google Play store. You won't rich, but I've made $200 in 3 years of using it. I've used it to rent movies and buy apps that I normally wouldn't pay for.

Aside from that Spotify for music. Stocard for keeping track of those stupid store membership/discount cards. And Open Camera is an open source camera app that will let you take better pictures with your phone than your regular phone camera app does, assuming you take the time to learn how to use it.

Hardware Review: 8BitDo GBros. Adapter - Use Your GameCube Pad Wirelessly With Switch

This thing is pretty cool. This thing will take not just GC pads but Wii ones too, meaning you can use the Wii classic controller on it. I still have my old Hori GC pad too.

Anyone planning on getting Guacamelee 2 on December 10th?  I really enjoyed the first one and will probably pick it up to play over the holliday season.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is looking phenomenal as well.  You wonder why we don't see more games with antropomorphic animals.  It's a great juxtaposition between realistic graphics and the comedy that is inherent to seeing such creatures come to life.

What is happening on Dec. 10th? Ohhh is it a console release

Interesting. The price of your soul is literally $66.6 a year.

Souls don't exist. So if I get anything for it, I am coming out ahead.

I make no comment on Bush Sr (I'm too ignorant too), but this is by far my favourite Bush obitury:

ONE OF THE CHIEF ARCHITECTS OF OUR LONG-RUNNING PLANETARY NIGHTMARE FINALLY DIES, ESCAPES JUSTICE BY SLIPPING INSENSATE INTO ETERNAL VOID, LIKE HIS MANY VICTIMS, INSTEAD OF HELL: BIZARRE ENCOMIA POUR IN FROM FURTHEST REACHES OF HEALTHY-SENSE-OF-IRONY-DEPLETED EMPIRE
