I also try to take into account how the systems age or in the Wii U's case will likely age. For me early 3D graphics age the worst which was one aspect that I took into account when putting the N64 at the bottom.
I don't know how I would rate Nintendo systems. I always think my favorite is the latest system so even if I love the NES it being the oldest system makes it my least favorite.

This is my list and really the only correct one:
Wii U should have been better than Wii, but they just didn't do enough with it. Shame.
