I'm not surprised, I'm happy.
That's so awesome.
I guess people figured without Mikami, it would be shit. I was kind of afraid of that.
RE hasn't exactly been on a upswing in recent years. Didn't Gamespot give RE6 like 4.5 rating? I think everyone was keeping their expectations in check.
I LIKED RE6. I hated it when it was first released for a number of reasons I frankly can't remember. One I DO remember was the inability to pause if you were connected to PSN. I didn't finish a single story mode and left it on my shelf. When I took it off my shelf a year and a half later, Capcom had patched an Offline Mode in and made numerous little changes like more generous checkpointing and unlocking Ada from the start.
All that said, I played the snot out of the PS4 demo for REVII and I'm excited for this week. I also loved RE1-3 but I still looked forward to the changes 4 brought, so VII looks like it'll be awesome.

Hi all, just providing minimum proof of life evidence.
Super busy on all the wrong things. Listening to Frank Zappa can't be helping!
Listening to Frank Zappa may be the ONLY thing that helps. Lol
One game, if you don't count those crap side games, which you shouldn't. The series is fine.
I felt the same way about it all.

Scorpio revealed.
RE3 is fine, 0 Is the meh one
Resident Evil 3 is good. Resident Evil 0 would have been better without the lame inventory system. I really enjoyed RE 6 as well.
Resident Evil 3 was awesome. Same type of experience as RE2 it was like you were getting a great expansion pack to it. Code Veronica was amazing, REmake was amazing, then RE0 was good.
YAKUZA 0 has been released!!! Where's the excitement?!
Looks like it glamorizes old Sega games too and I'm not comfortable with that either.
Unorganized crime FTW
Nearly naked Japanese man dancing bizarrely FTW. That's the kind of content that gets one on the GotY shortlist.
It's a lot of conjeture still, but it appears that even Scorpio won't be able to run all games in 4K. Sounds more and more like a PS4Pro kind of upgrade, but with a larger amount of RAM. No Scorpio exclusives allowed either.
